Govenor Chet Culver
Govenor Chet's Website Friend --Earlier this week, our campaign was proud to announce a record breaking fundraising total of $2.59 million cash on hand to start 2010. But raising money is only part of a winning campaign.
We need to continue building our statewide organization, and the 2010 precinct caucuses are critical not only to that effort but to electing Democrats up and down the ticket. That's why Patty, Mari and I are attending our precinct caucus one week from today and I hope you will be able to participate in your local community.
Caucuses will begin at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 23.
You can visit the Iowa Democratic Party's caucus website to get more information and find out where your precinct will be meeting.
Two years ago, Iowans made history by launching Barack Obama to the White House. By attending the caucuses next week, you will help build the strong organization we need to win in the fall.
Join me in attending your precinct caucus and visit the Iowa Democratic Party's caucus page to find out your caucus location.
I am proud that you and so many Iowans are committed to continue moving Iowa forward and win next November, but it starts with getting organized at the caucuses next Saturday. I hope you join Patty and me in attending your local caucus.
Thank you for all your support.
-- Chet Culver
